Bio

Born in the Midlands UK, currently residing between there & London. I studied a B-Tec National Diploma in Art. Progressing on to a BA in Fashion Design at Middlesex University, choosing a course that placed emphasis on concept and skilled creation as I was excited by the sculptural and figurative elements in fashion design. After graduating I found a natural gravitation towards costume and prop making, evolving from my interest in creating a visual narrative. Over recent years I have returned to producing my own artistic work. In 2010 after receiving a bursary from the Royal British Society of Sculptors, I made a clear decision to focus on developing my own art practice. Since then my work has been included in several arts publications and selected for exhibition worldwide; Including a commission to produce an artists film for KODE museum of contemporary art in Bergen, and most recently my inclusion in the 4th Ural Industrial Biennial.
